Billions are living with deadly consequence of environmental pollution,

I will change that.

At age 15, in front of two hundred students at a local middle school, I took a deep breath and gave talk about nuclear fusion as the energy source of the future.

At age 16, I dove straight down the rabbit hole of environmental sustainability. Refusing to leave local waste problems for others to solve, a group of friends and I built Faunas.Co, a company dedicated to closing the circular economy loop in suburban Las Vegas.

Now, as an undergraduate at Caltech, I am focusing on gathering all the tools I need to actualize my purpose:

Solving waste pollution problems in third-world countries, through developing sustainable energy hardware, innovating biodegradable semiconductors, streamlining production through machine learning, and seeking the economic incentives behind sustainable development.

I pursued what I loved, not what I was supposed to do. Even if I am the only girl speaking at the conference, standing before big company executives, and nerding out about energy hardware, I am not afraid to keep going.
